Penang Georgetown - Sunway Hotel? Having holiday with my friend next week. All of us are first time visit to Penang (free and easy). Staying at Sunway Hotel, wanted to know any nearby malls and place for good food within walking distance. Heard about Gurney Drive but kinda like too far away from our hotel. Would like to have more details before we head off. Any website for me to have the full details? Also planning to visit the Chinese Temples, not sure if it's too far for our hotel or... Is there a hotel in Kuala Lumpur which offers free transfer from/to the airport? I plan to stay in KLCC and tour the city on foot then see Genting and Sunway Theme Park. Do hotels also offer scheduled shuttle services to these destinations at a cheaper price? Or would it cost the four of us to avail of land package tour to Genting? I am considering the appeal of the room (I'm a 25 year-old woman) including the elegance of the bathroom, the location of the hotel (my destinations are Genting, Sunway & KLCC), the service they provide (accommodates additional requests like airport transfer/shuttle service) and the breakfast they serve. If travelling to Kuala Lumpur, which hotel is the best place to stay in? I will be staying for 3 nights and plan to go to Genting, Sunway Lagoon Theme Park and KLCC. Also, will the hotel give free shuttle service to these destinations or should I avail of land tour packages instead? budget of MYR400 for 3 nights As long as the place is great, near my destinations and if possible, offers free shuttle service, I can stretch my budget to MYR500. Too bad our arrival is time is at midnight, that already counts as 1 night right? Since check-in time is usually at 3pm. Are stores in Petaling Street and Golden Triangle open until midnight? We are planning to go to Genting Highlands from 9AM-4PM on a Friday, Sunway Theme Park on a Saturday and the City Tour on a Sunday. I scheduled it on a Sunday because we have to check out at 3PM and head to the airport at 9PM. And if I schedule Genting & Sunway on the last day, we would have to check out before spending the day and might get too exhausted before the flight. I am worried that some establishments may be closed on Sunday though.

Trip to KL and Genting Highland? I have a several questions regarding the above title. I've planning to travel to KL this January 2010, probably 8th till 13th with my hubby (2 person travelling together). 1) I've thinking to go to Genting Highland on 8th till 10th (3D/2N) and 10th till 13th at KL (4D/3N). Should I proceed with this plan OR stay at KL first and later at Genting Highland? Since 8th is Friday and 10th is Sunday which is weekend. Besides, we will travel by public transportation so there will be 1 or 2 luggage after having our shopping spree at KL (thinking if we travel to Genting after KL). Any idea? 2) How packed is Genting Highland during that weekends? And how about the queue for each ride? 3) Which hotel along Bukit Bintang has a good review and good price? (preferably budget hotel and near to monorail). 4) Since we both still young (early 20s), we want to enjoy every moment there and fill with fun activities. Can I know what is the sweetest things to do with your partner especially when you are travelling together there? :) Besides shopping.
