Any recommended Sunway Lagoon Hotel (Petaling Jaya)?

Hi there, I need to know, if i have abt 6 adults + 2 kids. Need to book a hotel/apartment at Sunway Lagoon area.. Any Resort apartment is available there? I have never been there b4, but i knew there is a big water theme park & shopping malls. Or what can elderly ppl do there? Other than watching after the grandchildren.. : ) Where is recommended to stay? Price steep? If can, pls provide me the price & hotel name.. We very prefer to stay under just 1 roof, Cos we are 1 family. Dun really mind the rating of the hotel. Very Looking forward for some ppl can give kind & recommended advise. stylo_milo_@hotmail.com

1. Well u can check the website www.sunway lagoon resort.com. and there are many hotels around Kuala Lumpur. U can also try the Berjaya Timesquare which is not too far from Sunway Lagoon. Yes Sunway Lagoon has a water splash,very large ones for children and adult, there are many activities and rides for children but please do accompany the children when taking the rides.. I remember my son took the Magic Carpet Ride and it was very scary and after the ride if your children is too young do not take as they will feel giddy, vommitting, nausea and upside down there are many safe rides that's not too terrifying u can take the water boat ride twirling and that's okay for adult and children as for elderly people they can relax at the pool side and there are just too many rides i cannot remember them well as i have been there in year 2001. All i can remember is Sunway Lagoon is famous for its big splash, pools,varieties of water activities but i don't think there is a shopping mall inside. It is only the water games and rides..... For shopiing malls it's at Berjaya Timesquare as there is also a theme park, movies with Giant screen and lots of shopping malls inside.... Do check the website Berjaya Timesquare.com. as they have a hotel as well....
2. At first I also intend to stay in Sunway Lagoon but heard is undergoing renovation. If you like theme park, go to Genting else can stay in berjaya time square. Many Shopping area there
3. Well, since you'll be travelling with your family, Sunway Lagoon does seem the right choice. Although it may prove to be a setback for your folks as it's main attraction are only the water theme parks. I suppose they could spend their time strolling around Sunway Piramid shopping mall... My suggestion would be MiCasa Hotel/ Apartment suites, in Tun Razak, K.L. They're situated not too far from KLCC and the KLCC park.
4. no apartment...try sunway lagoon hotel or sunway tower hotel (cheaper than sunway lagoon). i don't have the exact price, but browse through the net and you should find. they are just close to each other.
