Transportation Information in KL required?

Hello I need some advice concerning transportation in Kuala Lumpur. I would need to travel from Shangri-la Hotel to the following places: 1.Bukit Buntang – Sungei Wang & other shopping malls around 2.Petronas Twin Towers 3.ChinaTown/ Petaling Street 4.Sunway Pyramid 5.Mid Valley 6.National Zoo & Aquarium 7.Spring Shopping Mall 8.Mines Wonderland 9.Eye on Malaysia I don’t want to travel by taxi all the times as it can be very costly. Can anyone suggest how to go to each of the above places by train/monorail/bus or any cheaper transport means? Please give train or bus number. I also need the location of places 7-9 above. Thank you in advance for your replies. The Spring Shooping mall is also called warisan square kota kinabalu sabah, i think.

  1. 1 - Use Monorail, from Bukit Nanas St. to Bukit Bintang St. There are a number of shopping complexes there i.e. the interconnected Sg Wang Plaza & Bukit Bintang, Lot 10, StarHill Gallery, Pavilion and Berjaya Times Square. 2 - It's a walking distance. Let say that you are facing your hotel, walk by the road on your let hand side until you arrive at a junction. turn left. by right, there will be a number of pubs on your left. You'll get to KLCC if you walk straight along the road. 3 - Use RapidKL, from Dang Wangi St to Masjid Jamek St, then u have to walk (pls refer to others for alternatives, but i think there's no easier way) 4. Use either monorail or RapidKL, from Bukit Nanas / Dang Wangi St. to KL Sentral, then take a bus to USJ or KTM commuter will take u straight to Subang. Most buses there will take you to Sunway. 5. Go to KL Sentral first (refer no.4), there, take KTM Komuter to Mid Valley St. 6. They're both in different places, National Zoo is in Hulu Kelang (From KLSentral, take Ampang-Kelana Jaya Line to Tmn Melati St, then take a bus to Zoo Negara). The Aquaria is in KLCC area. You can go there by taxi, or if u insist, you can walk there) 7. ??? i dunno what/where it is 8. KL Sentral first, then use KTM Komuter to go to Serdang St. From there, u can choose whether u want to walk or take a taxi. Its a walking distance, but the road is busyyyyyy.. 9. This one I'm not so sure...Titiwangsa Station, maybe? Then you have to take a cab from there I guess. For bus no, here: http://www.rapidkl.com.my/rapidbus_route_area5_dsarapchgpjsbgsbgjyshalamklgptklg.htm Edit: Ohhh... in that case, u need to go KLIA first, and book ur flight ticket to KK (its way way more expensive than to go by cab..lol!)
  2. Yes ayn is correct. To go to eye on malaysia, take monorail to titiwansa. Walking distance from there.
  3. The Spring is in Kuching Sarawak
