Is one day enough to cover all parks in Sunway Lagoon?

Btw, little help in planning my trip would be appreciated. I plan to visit KL, Batu caves and Sunway Lagoon. Which is the best place for me to stay centre to all these locations? So that I could commute without much of a problem.

1. i think you should stay at KL because there is more hotels and you can take more convenience bus or taxi to reach batu caves and sunway lagoon. yes, it's enough for you to cover the parks in one day. where are you from?? i am from kl
2. One day is enough at Sunway Lagoon, if you don't stay too long at an area. Between KL, Batu Caves and Sunway Lagoon, you should stay in KL, as Batu Caves is nearby, and there are plenty of mode of transport for you to Sunway.
3. you need the whole day in sunway lagoon and about 3 to 4 hours to visit batu caves. both are not close to each other

What that i can suggest is- The most convenient hotel for you to stay is either the Legend Hotel http://www.legendsgroup.com/legendkl/ or the Best Western Sari Pacific http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/productInfo.do?iata=&promoCode=&corpID=&propertyCode=99052 . Both hotels are centrally located & both are just walking distance to trains stations (LRT - Light Rail Transit). You can do shopping & food choices are aplenty in this area too. Batu Caves is just about 15 to 20 minutes drive away from these 2 hotels. You can just flag down a cab/taxi to go to this enchanting cave. Dont bother in gettng on a bus or train coz 1stly, you have to get bus which the station is kinda far away from your hotel and 2ndly, there's no train that going to that area. While Sunway Lagoon is located 1 hour drive away. And no, it is not convenient for you to stay in Kuala Lumpur. You should stay nearby Sunway Lagoon. There are several hotels available and all are just walking distance to the waterpark. 1) Sunway Resort & Spa - Recommended 5 stars hotel. 2) Pyramid Hotel - Recommended 4 stars hotel Both hotels offer package that includes accommodation, food credit, entrance tickets to the sunway lagoon. make your inquiry with the hotel http://www.sunwayhotels.com 3) Sun Inns - A budget hotel http://www.suninnshotels.com/index.html When you are in Sunway Lagoon, it is advisable to spend one full day to enjoy all the rides. Do plan your itinerary wisely when you are at the park coz you dont wanna have sore feet at the end of the day. The place opens from 10am till 6pm and close on Tuesdays except on Public & school holidays. No outside food will be allowed to enter this park. They will search your bags and confiscate if they find any foreign food stuff. However, dont worry of starving coz they do sell food in there. I recommend it is the best for you to stay in a nearby hotel coz believe me, you will be exausted after spending the entire day there. hope this helps and have fun in Malaysia!
