Newsweek Asia’s Top Private Hospitals 2026 

Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City has been ranked among the top private hospitals in the region and in Malaysia in the Newsweek’s Asia's Top Private Hospitals and Clinics 2026 rankings, which recognise private healthcare facilities for excellence in selected procedures within Orthopaedics and Ophthalmology.

In the 2026 rankings, Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City ranked among the top in Asia for the following procedures: No. 1 for Cataract Surgery, and Top 10 for Refractive Eye Surgery, Hip Surgery and Hip Replacement, Knee Surgery and Knee Replacement, and Shoulder Surgery.

Additionally, in Malaysia, we were recognised as the Top Private Hospital for 4 out of the 5 evaluated procedures.
