Newsweek Asia’s Top Private Hospitals 2026 

Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City has been ranked among the top private hospitals in the region and in Malaysia in the prestigious Newsweek’s Asia's Top Private Hospitals and Clinics 2026 rankings, marking our second consecutive year of recognition.

According to the 2026 Asia rankings by Newsweek, Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City was named First in Asia for Cataract Surgery, Second in Asia for Refractive Eye Surgery, and Top 8 in Asia for Hip Surgery and Hip Replacement, Knee Surgery and Knee Replacement, as well as Shoulder Surgery.

At the national level, we were also ranked Malaysia’s top private hospital in 4 out of the 5 evaluated procedures.
