Sunway GP Symposium: Orthopaedic Knowledge (Updates for GPs)

Sunway Medical Centre organised an Orthopaedic Symposium at the SunMed Convention Centre titled `Orthopaedic Knowledge - Updates for GPs,’ where our respected specialists from various sub-specialities ranging from spine surgeons to arthroplasty surgeons shared their knowledge and experience in their fields. The Orthopaedic Centre has over 30 dedicated specialists and is known as one of the largest centres in Sunway Medical Centre.

The Symposium was chaired by Dr. Saw Lim Beng who is our resident consultant and spine surgeon. The engaging one-day event includes discussion topics such as `A Diagnostic Approach to Hip Pain’ and `Debridement for Diabetic Wound’, with almost 300 General Practitioners (GPs) present.

GPs from different clinics and hospitals around the region, not only get to garner knowledge on the current trends and future innovations in Orthopaedics, but also share their insights among themselves. The event was a success and we truly appreciate all those who participated and were involved in the symposium.
